What does a Campus Ambassador do?

Being a Campus Ambassador is a voluntary role and usually requires a commitment of no more than 2 hours/week on average. As a Campus Ambassador, you decide how to increase awareness of the programme in your university or college, on a time that suits your schedule.

Promoting on campus can often involve methods such as putting up posters, circulating flyers, sharing updates on social media groups, running an information evening or stand, speaking to college officials and Heads of Departments, contacting the Students’ Union - along with any other creative, innovative strategy you come up with!

GUA is a not-for-profit organisation, meaning we have very limited resources to advertise on campus. As a Campus Ambassador, you are ensuring that as many students as possible hear about this opportunity. This passion and self-motivation will stand out to employers.

Plan and Coordinate your own Marketing Campaign
Campus Ambassadors have full freedom to coordinate their promotional strategy as they wish. You'll be provided with the GUA Communications Pack and a full suite of promotional material but ultimately it's up to you to decide how you use it. This experience is particularly valuable to students interested in marketing, business or advertising.

Become part of the GUA Team!
The GUA Team is small but passionate and we consider all our Campus Ambassadors to be part of that team. We'll schedule an initial phone call to get to know you and after that we're always available via phone and email to support you during your promotional campaign and into the future.

Attend the GUA Global Summit
Every year, the GUA Campus Ambassador who shows the most innovation and initiative is invited to attend the annual GUA Global Summit.
