Summit Locations
Blackhall Place
Since 1978, Blackhall Place has housed the headquarters for the Law Society of Ireland, the representative and regulatory body for solicitors in the State. The building itself dates back to the 1600s, featuring substantial renovations through the centuries including fine plasterwork of the Georgian period and stained glass windows by the Irish artist, Evie Hone. This year’s UA Global Summit will give insight into this historic building and the home of an essential organisation for the legal profession.
The Honorable Society of King’s Inns
King’s Inns, Ireland’s oldest law school will be the host of this year's Gala Dinner. Located on Henrietta Street, King’s Inns was established in 1541. As an institution, it provides legal education and training for all aspiring barristers in Ireland. It is also comprised of benchers, including all those on the Supreme Court of Ireland. The Gala Dinner this year will provide a chance to see inside this historic institution, where many famous legal figures have studied over the past centuries.
The Church
The unique 17th Century, 320 year old Church stands tall and proud on the corner of Mary and Jervis Street in Dublin city centre. Since its restoration, it has become a hive of activity, bringing cultures, friends and families together, and in a roundabout way, fulfilling its original purpose. The Church will host our welcome reception on Sunday evening, where attendees can get to know each other before the Summit begins.
Jameson Distillery Bow St.
Jameson Distillery Bow St. is the original site where Jameson Irish Whiskey was distilled until 1971. Founded by John Jameson in 1780, today the former factory stands as a monument to Irish Whiskey.
In 2018, Jameson Distillery Bow St. was awarded the ‘World’s Leading Distillery Tour’ at the 25th World Travel Awards.
Summit attendees will have the unique opportunity to visit Jameson Distillery for our Monday evening social event, where they'll take part in a guided tour and a whiskey-tasting session. This is a great chance to learn more about Ireland's most popular whiskey and to catch up and network after the first day of the conference.
During the event, our 2022 Highly Commended Entrants will be awarded their certificate of recognition.

Discover Dublin
Steeped in rich history and culture, Dublin is the contemporary centre for education, the arts, and industry in Ireland, and home to The Global Undergraduate Awards. The modest capital has grown to become one of Europe's most exciting cities. We invite you to explore the sights, sounds, and tastes that this thriving city has to offer.
Phoenix Park
Located just outside the city centre, Phoenix Park is the largest enclosed public park in Europe and home to about 400 fallow deer. The residence of the President of Ireland, Áras an Uachtaráin, built in 1754 is located in the park. Dublin Zoo, with more than 400 species and the third oldest zoo in the world is also located within the park.
Guinness Storehouse
The Guinness Storehouse located in The Liberties is home to the beverage that has come to define Irish identity internationally. Learn about how the world famous stout is made and the secret to the "perfect pint" at the Gravity Bar which offers a sweeping panoramic view of Dublin's skyline.
EPIC Musuem
You won't find leprechauns or pots of gold here, but you’ll discover that what it means to be Irish expands far beyond the borders of Ireland through the stories of Irish emigrants who became scientists, politicians, poets, artists and even outlaws all over the world. Discover Ireland from the outside in and find out why saying “I’m Irish” is one of the biggest conversation starters, no matter where you are.
St Stephen's Green
Situated at the top of Grafton Street, St Stephen's Green offers a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the busy shopping district. Our recommendation is to stop by Fallon and Byrne nearby on Exchequer Street to pick up a few nibbles and drinks for a nice picnic on the lush green spaces.
Temple Bar
No guide to Dublin is complete without mentioning the colourful cobbled streets of Temple Bar. During the day there are shops and galleries to discover. At night, the numerous pubs come alive with music and banter as the party spills out onto its streets and lanes.
