Pascale is a first year PhD student in Immunology looking at molecular “fingerprints” of immune cells in autoimmune disease for their potential as biomarkers or therapeutic targets. She completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in the field of Immunology. Pascale was awarded the Otto and Joan Hirschfeld Memorial Honours Scholarship in Immunology and went on to win a University Medal awarded by the University Senate. She presented her research at the Immunotherapy@Brisbane international conference, and recently at the American College of Rheumatology meeting in Chicago. Outside of her academic studies, Pascale is an avid sportsperson, enjoying off-road biking and running, having also competed in the University of Queensland’s Great Court Race twice.
