“My research into solar home systems ignited a passion and I launched a Solar Energy Project in Rural Cambodia. With Engineers Without Borders, I spent a year installing solar panels to provide lights to families that were previously in the dark. With the lights, children are now able to study at night; women can cook safely and it has increased income for the families. The project and research was most recently published in the Journal of Humanitarian Engineering and the Australian Solar Council Report.

I have recently returned home to Australia am excited about starting my new job as a Consultant at Deloitte. I am passionate about creating meaningful change and am eager to work within Social Impact Consulting at the premier professional services firm to tackle the greatest societal challenges.”
