Sean Butler

Sean is a fourth year Philosophy student at the University of St Andrews. His main interests are epistemology, philosophy of truth, metaethics and jurisprudence. He is interested in old and mediaeval English literature. He has won the Grieve Prize for the best student in first year Moral Philosophy, the Class Medal for History of Philosophy, and most recently the Honours Prize for the best student in Honours level philosophy.

Having recently had the opportunity to take a module in the philosophy of criminal law, he has been inspired to pursue a degree in law upon completing his studies at St Andrews, and in the future a post-graduate degree in jurisprudence.
