Russell Ó Ríagáin

What are you up to now?
I am just finishing a research master’s at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge, and I will be starting a PhD here in October.

What did winning mean to you?
Winning gave me the ultimate reward for all of my hard work. It has also aided me in winning a PhD scholarship.

Why do you think your entry was the winning paper in your category?
I feel that I researched the topic as deeply as possible and provided some new insights into the early Irish Neolithic.
