Rui Shi

Rui Shi is a master’s student at Warwick University studying economics. She did her undergraduate degree at Durham University, and graduated with a first class honors. Professionally, Rui has strong interests in conducting research in economics and international development related area. She has an inquisitive nature, and thus is interested in fields other than economics, such as diplomacy. As such, she has attended the 2015 Young Diplomat Forum that was held in London. Rui likes to travel whenever she has spare time. Her hobbies includes aikido (Japanese martial art), in which she has achieved a 3rd kyu grade within two years and playing flute for the Endeavour Orchestra at Durham University.
