Marek currently works at the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) which he joined in January 2013 as a Research Assistant on a project investigating consumer decision making in areas of financial services, telecommunications, and energy. The focus of this project is to explore consumers’ cognitive limitations to evaluation and comparison of complex products.
Prior to joining the ESRI team, he worked for a year on number of small psychophysical research projects at NUIG. Marek holds a BA in Psychology from NUIG and won The Undergraduate Awards Psychology category 2012 with his final year project entitled ‘Process Timing and its Relations to the Perception of Tonal Harmony: an EEG Study’.
