Louisa Brophy Browne

Louisa graduated this year from NUI Galway where she obtained a BA (International) in Archaeology and Classics. Her Erasmus year was spent studying at Charles University in Prague, where she enjoyed learning more about Central European history and archaeology. Her main study interests at home include iconography and the movement of ideas, especially in an Early Christian context, as well as how people and communities interact with archaeology and the past; the latter is an area in which she would like to pursue further study. She was ViceAuditor of the Quiz Society in second year and final year, and Treasurer of the Classics Society in final year. In Summit 2013, she volunteered in India with Suas Education Development, working in an education centre in Kolkata.
