Evie Rose Smith recently graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with first class honours in French with International Politics and Conflict Studies. While studying she was a member of the Amnesty International QUB society, organising fundraising events, campaigns and petitions. She also attended Amnesty International conferences in London and Belfast. A native Scottish Gaelic speaker, she has always had a keen interest in other cultures and languages and is currently travelling in France before she starts a Spanish language course in Madrid. With a view to pursuing work in the humanitarian sector, her main interests lie in asylum and refugee studies.
