David recently graduated at the top of his class in Chemistry of Pharmaceutical Compounds at UCC. During his time there, he was actively involved in the Philosophical Society, where he enjoyed “reasonable success” in competitive debating, reaching the final of the Irish Mace Debating Competition and many collegiate competitions. Indeed, owing to these achievements and more, he was awarded an honorary life membership. He was also awarded the title of College Scholar for a number of years on the basis of his academic performance. He has recently been granted funding to attend the Onassis Foundation’s prestigious series of lectures on Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
