Conor Brennan

Conor recently completed his BA in German & English Literature at Trinity College Dublin, where he was awarded a Non-Foundation Scholarship and a Gold Medal for outstanding final degree results. He spent the academic year 2014-15 at the University of Freiburg, researching for a project on Joyce and Kafka with funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

A passionate student of languages, Conor spent the long summers of his undergrad years travelling, working and studying in Germany and Austria, including at the Humboldt University of Berlin on a DAAD summer scholarship in 2013. He has also worked for Euro Languages College and Amnesty International, Innsbruck. While in Dublin, Conor performed in TCD’s German-speaking drama group and competed with the college athletics club. He is currently studying for an MSt in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford, with the help of an Ertegun Postgraduate Scholarship in the Humanities.
