Aisling McHugh

Aisling graduated from Trinity College Dublin, top of her class, with a first class honours in 2015. Born in England, she grew up and was educated in Dublin. Aisling has always been fascinated by the complexity of the biological processes occurring within the human body. Her undergraduate degree in Human Health and Disease enabled her to gain an insight into the fundamentals of certain diseases and our ability to treat them. During her degree, Aisling undertook a laboratory placement in a translational immunology lab at Trinity College Dublin. Her experiences in the lab led her to be invited to be involved in the hands on work for a clinical trial investigating the use of vitamin D supplementation in patients with Multiple Sclerosis. Aisling now works within the lifecycle safety department of a contract research organization.
